PLC Technician

Responsibilities include using electrical and controls knowledge and experience to create programs to support new equipment installation and aid in the troubleshooting and maintenance of manufacturing and distribution center equipment to diagnose and fix electrical and controls issues. May perform other skilled maintenance tasks as required.

•   3+ years’ controls design and troubleshooting experience with programmable controls required.
•   Two years experience in PLC programming. Must be able to read/understand blueprints, equipment manuals, and industrial standards.
•   Competent in understanding mechanical and basic electrical systems.
•   Proficient in reading and understanding of control and electrical wiring schematics. Experience drawing electrical schematics preferred.
•   Working knowledge of Allen Bradley line of Controls Equipment (drives, PLC’s, Panelviews, Servo).
•   Experience troubleshooting and maintenance with Fanuc Robotics. Robotics programming preferred.
•   Understanding of PLC programming skills utilizing Rockwell Software products.
•   1st Shift
