Software Engineer

Who’s qualified: Bachelor’s degree in CPRE, EE, SE, COM S. We’re seeking motivated, exceptional individuals who love to code. You must have at least a 3.0 GPA to be considered. MARSHALLTOWN is an EOE.
What you’ll do: You’ll solve real problems to make MARSHALLTOWN an even better company. You will use your skills to design new ways to improve business operations and customer service. You will be involved in all aspects of problem analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
You will work closely with Dynamics AX, our ERP system which our operation is centered around.
Tools and Technology: Dynamics AX, X++, Visual Studio, .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI, Xcode, iOS, SQL Server and cloud computing technologies. MARSHALLTOWN has the latest Windows Server technologies virtualized in a VMWare infrastructure.
Who you’ll work with: You’ll work with experienced software engineers. We don’t just do a job; we strive to continually hone our craft and want you to join us. You’ll work with end-users to assess their needs and help them do their job more efficiently.
The work environment: You get your own office, with a door, in our newly remodeled Information Engineering department. Your dual-monitor development machine is a MacPro loaded with RAM running Windows virtualized. Our dress is business casual, khakis or jeans, collared shirt.
Software Engineer Intern

Who’s qualified: Sophomore, Junior, and Senior undergraduate majors in CPRE, EE, SE, COM S. We’re seeking motivated, exceptional individuals who love to code.
What you’ll do: Work on real projects that solve real problems to make MARSHALLTOWN an even better company. You will use your skills to design new ways to improve business operations and customer service. Your work will actually be used by our organization and the skills you acquire will be with you the rest of your career.
The projects range from developing and enhancing iPad/iPod/iPhone apps, building web applications and web services, to working in our advanced business system, Dynamics AX.

Software Engineer Intern - Arkansas

Who’s qualified: Sophomore, Junior, and Senior undergraduate majors in Computer Engineering , Computer Science or Information Systems. We’re seeking motivated, exceptional individuals who love to code and solve problems using technology. Marshalltown is an EOE.
What you’ll do: Work on real projects that solve real problems to make MARSHALLTOWN an even better company. You will use your skills to design new ways to improve business operations and customer service. Your work will actually be used by our organization and the skills you acquire will be with you the rest of your career. You will also help with the management, maintenance, and upgrading our computing and technology infrastructure.
The projects range from developing and enhancing iPad/iPod/iPhone apps, building web applications and web services, enhancing our distribution system software, and working with our advanced business system, Dynamics AX. The projects will vary from small, short-duration, one-person projects to improve a process or provide information to bigger projects where you will collaborate with experienced software engineers and multiple users.

You’ll also work with servers and networks assisting our Systems Engineers with computing infrastructure projects and maintenance.
